Ginger’s powerful antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties make it one of the most widely used spices in traditional medicine in many Asian cultures. Much of its benefits have also been scientifically verified: below we explain how to prepare ginger tea.
Ginger is one of the richest sources of vitamin C, magnesium, and other minerals. It helps stimulate the digestive system, increases defenses, cleanses the liver, relieves pain, and treats infections and asthma.
Thanks to its richness in antioxidants, ginger strengthens the immune system and improves blood circulation, protecting us from heart problems and preventing clogged arteries. Ginger also helps relieve joint and muscle pain, relieve nausea, lose weight, and detoxify the liver.
To prepare ginger tea you need: 250 ml of water, coconut oil, honey, half a teaspoon of turmeric and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger.
Bring the water to a boil, then add ginger and turmeric and cook for about 10 minutes. Remove from the stove, add a little coconut oil and mix well. Finally, sweeten with a little honey.
