A teenage grandson had been staying with his grandmother for a few weeks after his mother went abroad for work.
Every single morning began exactly the same.
Grandma would ask,
“Did you sleep well?”
“Yes, Grandma.”
“Did you brush your teeth?”
“Yes.”
“Did you say your prayers?”
“Yes.”
“Are you hungry?”
“No.”
“Why aren’t you hungry?”
“I just woke up!”
Then came lunch.
“Did you wash your hands?”
“Yes.”
“Are you eating enough vegetables?”
“Yes.”
“Why are you eating so fast?”
“Because I’m hungry!”
“Why are you so hungry? Didn’t you have breakfast?”
By the end of the week, the grandson looked exhausted.
Grandma noticed and asked,
“You seem tired. What’s bothering you?”
The grandson sighed and said,
“Grandma… I love living with you…”
She smiled proudly.
He continued,
“…but I wish your questions came with a ‘Skip Ad’ button!”
