The ad used sensational language such as \u201cTensions Erupt After His On-Air Slip-Up\u201d and \u201cSteve Harvey Abruptly Fired From \u2018Family Feud.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These claims were entirely untrue. Harvey was not removed from&nbsp;<em>Family Feud<\/em>, and there was no recent interview between him and Oprah Winfrey. The advertisement ultimately led users to a scam promoting a product called&nbsp;<strong>Canna Labs CBD Gummies<\/strong>, falsely claiming that Harvey had endorsed it. Harvey has never supported or promoted CBD gummies or similar products. Online searches for Canna Labs CBD Gummies mostly turned up fake websites and misleading videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Users who clicked the ad were redirected to a fake CNN-style article hosted on&nbsp;<strong>pastadibern.pro<\/strong>, not CNN\u2019s official website. The headline falsely read,&nbsp;<em>\u201cSteve Harvey Fired from \u2018Family Feud\u2019 After Shocking On-Air Confession to Oprah Winfrey.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fabricated article also included a fake post attributed to Harvey\u2019s X (formerly Twitter) account, @IAmSteveHarvey. No such post ever appeared on his real account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bogus story claimed\u2014without evidence\u2014that ABC executives fired Harvey due to comments he allegedly made during an Oprah Winfrey interview about erectile dysfunction, and it falsely stated that CBD gummies helped him. The article was filled with invented quotes and featured misleading images, including photos of Harvey\u2019s wife, Marjorie, and Dr. Phil McGraw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This type of scam is not new. Similar false claims tying Harvey to CBD products were first debunked by&nbsp;<strong>Snopes in 2022<\/strong>, along with comparable scams involving Oprah Winfrey, Mayim Bialik, and other public figures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More Detailed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/topstoryusa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/STory-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14340\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of May 2024, a paid Facebook post spread the rumor that Steve Harvey had been fired as host of \u201cFamily Feud.\u201d The ad said that he was leaving the game show after almost 14 years. \u201cTensions Erupt After His On-Air Slip-Up,\u201d the ad said. \u201cSteve Harvey Abruptly Fired From \u2018Family Feud,\u2019\u201d it said. It turned out to be false, though. Harvey wasn\u2019t \u201cbooted off of Family Feud,\u201d and Oprah Winfrey hadn\u2019t recently talked to him (see picture below). Also, the ad led to a scam that said Harvey had supported a product called Canna Labs CBD Gummies when he hadn\u2019t. He never said that any kind of CBD candies were good. When we searched Google for more information about Canna Labs CBD Gummies, we mostly found fake web pages and videos. People who clicked on the ad were taken to a fake CNN story on pastadibern.pro. The headline read, \u201cSteve Harvey Fired from \u2018Family Feud\u2019 After Shocking On-Air Confession to Oprah Winfrey.\u201d (It wasn\u2019t possible for us to make a link to an old version of the page.) The fake CNN story was on pastadibern.pro, not cnn.com. The fake and dishonest story had a fake post on X that was said to be from Harvey\u2019s account (@IAmSteveHarvey). This fake post was never seen on Harvey\u2019s X account. This is how the fake CNN story on pastadibern.pro started: Chris Dungey, CEO of ABC Entertainment, said this morning at TCA that Steve Harvey\u2019s offensive comedy had \u201cabsolutely nothing to do with\u201d him being fired from hosting \u201cFamily Feud.\u201dHarvey wrote after being fired from \u201cFamily Feud\u201d that he was \u201cstunned and blindsided by the show I called home for the last 14 years.\u201dSteve, 67, is famous for hosting the hit daytime show \u201cFamily Feud.\u201d He thinks that ABC is firing him because of something he said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.Harvey went off script last week during the interview and talked about his fight with ED and how he finally got better. Oprah Winfrey stated her point of view: \u201cI just think those kinds of conversations have their place, and my show isn\u2019t one of them.\u201dShe then said, \u201cI\u2019m glad Steve found a solution or something to his problem \u2018downstairs,\u2019 but it was rude, and because it was a family event, his hosting job should be canceled.\u201dHarvey didn\u2019t agree and asked, \u201cWhy the bad reputation?!
