Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of acclaimed actor Tommy Lee Jones<\/strong>, was found dead early on New Year\u2019s Day<\/strong> at a luxury hotel in San Francisco, California<\/strong>, according to multiple news reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency responders were called to the Fairmont San Francisco<\/strong> hotel at around 2:52 a.m.<\/strong> local time on January 1, 2026<\/strong>, following a medical emergency. Paramedics assessed Jones and pronounced her deceased at the scene<\/strong>. The San Francisco Fire Department and Police Department confirmed their involvement in the response, while the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner<\/strong> later identified her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this stage, authorities have not confirmed an official cause of death<\/strong>, though police have said foul play is not suspected<\/strong>. Initial reports and emergency dispatch audio have suggested circumstances consistent with a possible drug overdose<\/strong>, and terms indicating medical distress such as \u201ccolor change\u201d were noted in 911 communication obtained by media outlets. An official determination will come after further investigation by the medical examiner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley<\/strong>. In addition to her connection to her father, she pursued some acting work in her early years, appearing in projects like Men in Black II<\/em> (2002) and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada<\/em> (2005), both linked to her father\u2019s work, as well as a guest role on the television series One Tree Hill<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
