The next night\u00a0I was pretty tired and asked the nurse if\u00a0she could take the baby to\u00a0the nursery for a\u00a0couple hours. That nurse was like- we\u00a0don\u2019t have a\u00a0nursery. All babies stay with the mom in\u00a0room. On\u00a0my\u00a0way up\u00a0the escalator to\u00a0street level, the same guy passed me\u00a0on\u00a0the opposite escalator coming down from the street.<br>There was no\u00a0way he\u00a0could\u2019ve been there\u2014I left him on\u00a0the train. Reaching\u00a0it, our daughter turns, looks down the hallway, and starts waving to\u00a0someone, but it\u00a0was the middle of\u00a0the night and the hallway was empty. As\u00a0we\u00a0approached even more, more frogs started making noise. A\u00a0few steps further, the sound of\u00a0thousands of\u00a0frogs drowned out all other noises, seemingly warning\u00a0us not to\u00a0venture closer to\u00a0the blackened window home.
