Embarrassed and already feeling awful, I raised my hand. \u201cIt was me. I\u2019m so sorry. I\u2019ll cover the repairs, of course.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But instead of calming down, he doubled down. He launched into a full-blown lecture about responsibility, how careless people cost companies money, and how he couldn\u2019t believe employees these days had no respect for other people\u2019s property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
